Grand Imam, Dr. Ahmed el-Tayeb received the ambassador of Bangladesh to Egypt.
Ahmed el-Tayeb welcomed the ambassador at the al-Azhar Sheikhdom. The ambassador said that al-Azhar represents the tolerance of Islam, corrects misconceptions, and works to consolidate the values of peace that all religions have brought.
The Bangladeshi ambassador expressed his to al-Azhar for its efforts for the Muslim people around the world, stressing, people of Bangladesh respect al-Azhar.
